Job Description:
Deliver pallets of pre-sold products to assigned retail accounts. Employees working as Pre- Sales Delivery Drivers could be considered for this position.
Performs daily routine vehicle inspection and operates vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
Develops and maintains good Company image in the trade and industry to achieve the Company's objective for the overall growth and availability of Dr Pepper products.
Notifies Route Manager of any mechanical problems that occur on vendors, or any changes in account status; i.e. new ownership, account closed, etc
Job Requirements:
A valid Class A - CDL Operators license and a driving record that meets our minimum standards.
Must also pass a pre-employment basic math test and a post-offer D.O. T. drug screen and physical test.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Previous sales and delivery experience required - beverage industry preferred.
Ability to convey a positive and professional image to all customers and employees.
Ability to abide by all policies and procedures and hold coworkers accountable for the same.
Personal Initiative and sound judgment is expected.
Self-management and trustworthiness is expected.
